Overhaul – Repairs of the DERMOJET

Revision and Repair of Dermojets according to ISO 13485:2016 requirements
Revision and repair of older DERMOJET models will no longer be covered. Our company and our resellers continue to receive older devices that do not comply with ISO 13485:2016 requirements. For the oldest models, some spare parts still contain Monel® (66% nickel) (serial numbers 18000 to 79000) (and then serial numbers 1000 to 15200, without CE marking). Furthermore, most are in very poor condition. This information notice aims to differentiate the older models, which will no longer be covered, from the newer models:

The new series with CE marking starts with serial number 15300 and goes up to approximately 48000, so after 1998:

A very simple way to differentiate them is by the location of the serial number. For the oldest models (1987 and earlier), this number is located below the US patent number on the front of the device, while the newer serial numbers are located on the side.

For medical use, the lifespan is 10 years, so the serial number must be greater than 37500 (with the CE mark 1014 or 2803).

The serial number is on the side of the device, and also in the other side the CE mark « CE 2803 »  or « CE 1014 », so it can be repaired.
